This cozy studio flat to rent on Barking Road is on the 1st floor. If ever a flat defined open-concept, then this would be it. It’s a functional space with a small kitchen that has a window. The fridge is in the main area, along with a large standalone wardrobe and a 2-seat table. The shower stall is also in this space. The toilet is separate and located down the hall outside the studio, but it is private and you don't have to share it. The building has a laundry room with a washer and dryer in a common area.
Newham is an affordable neighbourhood east of the city centre. It’s too much of a hike to get downtown, but the District Tube line can get you there in 45 minutes. The area is largely residential. Your studio flat is close to Upperton Road West Park and the Newham University Hospital. If you’re a football fan, you can catch West Ham United matches at Boleyn Ground. It’s 10 minutes away. Everything you need is close to the stadium, including a cinema, restaurants, and the supermarket.
What we liked the most
- You get access to a shared laundry room!
- You can pick up fish and chips just up the road.
- There is a lovely little park nearby.
- There are at least two gyms within walking distance.

- The studio only includes a private shower; the toilet is private but separate, located down the hall.
