This studio flat for rent on Morgan Street doesn’t have an elevator, but is located on the 1st floor. The front door opens into the open-concept space. You’ll find wood flooring and a fair-sized window overlooking the back street. The area is cozy and furnished with a double bed and standalone wardrobe, as well as a desk, which can double as a food prep space if you need a bit of extra space cooking in the equipped kitchenette. The kitchen does have a counter top, mind you, along with a mini-fridge, 2 stove burners, a microwave, and ample cupboard space. Located beside the front door is the bathroom, with a shower stall and window.
Your flat in Newham is just a 10-minute walk from the Queen Mary University. The borough is also home to the Stratford and Docklands campuses of the University of East London, which are a 23 and 45-minute public transportation ride away respectively. Close to home, you have plenty to see and do at Mile High Park, which is practically across the street from your flat. Walking toward the university, you’ll find an increasing number of pubs and restaurants, and there is a Food Sale Express, Starbucks coffee shop and a Subway sandwich chain just 3 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- With a window overlooking a backstreet, the studio flat is fairly quiet.
- There are 3 universities in the borough, and although you’ll need to take public transportation to 2 of them, you can easily get to the third with a short walk.
- Multiple nearby parks offer a few different activities, and are a great place for a walk.
- There are a number of coffee shops and restaurants close by.
