This amazing 1-bedroom apartment for rent in Donaustadt opens out to a balcony with stunning panoramic views. The stylish 27th floor property has a floor area of 61 m² and offers a modern bathroom, a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The brand new building was completed in 2015, and as well as some of the best views in Vienna, it offers free basement parking during the opening hours of the shopping mall, a private park for the tenant's use (at a cost), private kindergarten and secondary school, and, for the health conscious, bicycle parking, both indoors and out.
The apartment is located in one of the few high rise buildings in Vienna above the "Citygate" shopping centre. This convenient location is only 1 minute from a U-bahn station to travel around the city. Also within a few minutes walk you can find a local clinic, lots of useful stores (even more than are in the building itself!) For leisure, there is a fitness centre across the street and public pools (indoor and out), and both a 9-hole and 18-hole golf course within a 10-15 minute drive. What a location!
What we liked the most
- There is a dining table with 3 chairs and a desk.
- The balcony can be accessed from the bedroom and living area.
- The modern kitchen offers a dishwasher, oven and microwave.
- You'll have all the creature comforts provided; Wi-Fi, a computer, and satellite TV.
- The bedroom offers good storage space.
- In the same building as the apartment is a major shopping centre. You can bring groceries directly from the shopping trolley to the elevator!
- You will enjoy a panoramic view spectacular sunset every day from the balcony.
Things to keep in mind
- The apartment is high up on the 27th floor, so it is not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo!
- The landlord would ideally like to rent the apartment to a single person, but could also accommodate a couple.
- The dryer is in a communal laundry room in the building.
