Spotahome's opinion
This ground floor studio apartment to rent on Via Antonino Parato has the feel of a larger space. There are a couple of steps when you first walk in through the front door. The main room is furnished with a sofa, ample shelving, and a little workspace with a desk and chair. Your bedroom is separated from this area by a large wardrobe that looks like it could be part of the wall. It’s also set apart from the kitchen by glass bricks. The kitchen itself is fully equipped and spacious. The bathroom, which has a washing machine and shower, can be reached through the kitchen.
Monte Mario is roughly 10 km northwest of downtown Rome. It’s well-served by public transportation. If you prefer quiet living close to nature, then this is the spot. You’re just on the edge of Dell'Insugherata Natural Reserve. Students don’t have to go far to get to Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. The faculty of Medicine and Surgery is a 20-minute bus ride away. Within a 15-minute walk, you’ll find an Agora hypermarket and Carrefour supermarket, as well as banks, a pharmacy and a few local restaurants.
What we liked the most
- Although this is a studio, the way things are laid out makes it feel like a much larger apartment.
- The parks in this area are great spots to jog, and you can get a work out at the StarFitness Roma, which is 15 minutes away.
- Close to the university, you’ll find the Auditorium Universita' Cattolica cinema.
- If you feel like taking up a new sport, there is a horse riding school 15 minutes away.
