You will be walking through a major part of Rome's history when you move in to this stunning apartment on the ancient Appian Way. This studio apartment is set in lovely grounds with a grassy garden, creating a very green and tranquil setting which seems a world away from bustling Rome. It has been beautifully furnished with classic pieces in a large room for cooking, relaxing and sleeping plus a bathroom with bath tub. This is a very spacious and light apartment for a couple.
It's a very peaceful, country setting surrounded by parks including the Appia Antica regional park, which is 10 minutes from your door. Here you'll find Ancient Roman relics and ruines, as well as extensive catacombs to explore. There's private parking available, so you can drive into the city centre in about 22 minutes or catch the bus just along the road for a leisurely 45-minute ride into the city. There are several local restaurants where you can enjoy good Roman cuisine in a beautiful setting. And a short drive away you can burn off the calories at the Circolo Tor Carbone sports centre. For the nearest shopping, just head to the Quarto Miglio, near Via Appia Nuova.

- The local area seems just made for evening strolls, listening to the birds sing in the fields.

- The kitchen is sparsely equipped so you may need to invest in a microwave.
