This 1-bedroom apartment on Piazza Foro Traiano is on the ground floor in the heart of Rome.
The front door opens into the combined living, dining and kitchen area. It isn’t a huge space, but it’s comfortable and trendy. The kitchen is fully equipped and extends underneath the staircase. The rest of the area is furnished with a comfy sofa bed, ottoman, two side tables, a shelving unit, TV and a dining table with two chairs. You don’t get a lot of light into the space, but there is a heating and A/C unit. Upstairs you’ll discover the bathroom, as well as a spacious bedroom furnished with a double bed, shelves and large wardrobe. The room also has a lovely window with a street view.
Get set for a world of adventurous living in Centro Storico. You are truly at the heart of ancient and modern life living in this location. Museums surround you. Piazza Venezia is steps away. The Roman Forum is a 15-minute walk away and the Colosseum is only 10 minutes from your new home.
There is a vintage clothing shop 10 minutes away. You'll also find an ice-cream store and several restaurants. There are also a couple of theaters that you can walk to and little markets are scattered about. However, to get to larger supermarkets and shopping malls, you’ll need to walk quite a ways.
What we liked the most
- The apartment doesn’t get a huge amount of natural light, but it’s got A/C and it’s a really cool split-level floorplan.
- Toss out your history books, you can explore the historical sights in this area for days on end.
- There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and ice-cream shops in the area, plus shops that sell larger belts.
- You can’t get any closer to the historic center of Rome than living here.

- There is a parking space for a "very small" car available for €300 per month.
