This ground floor 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via Andrea Andreani is a bus ride away from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Walking through the front door, you enter into the open-plan kitchen and living room, where you’ll find a gorgeous red sofa bed and little island table where you can have breakfast. You can enter the full bathroom from this space, as well as the bedroom, which is furnished with a double bed and has a door to the patio. Furnishings may be minimal, but this just means you can bring in a few things of your own.
Torre Angela is just outside of Rome’s main districts, which means you won’t be distracted by tourists at every turn. In fact, the neighborhood is fairly residential and even has a wonderful little public park just 8 minutes away from your apartment. While it’s a bit of a hike, you can reach various campuses of the University of Rome within a 30-minute bus ride or 10-minute drive. Just at the end of your street, you’ll find a local restaurant, store and small market for your immediate needs, but there is a larger Eurospin supermarket just 8 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The patio is great, and there's space for parking just outside the gate.
- It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, so you won’t have too many distractions if you study at or work from home.
- If you want to live like a local, you’ll certainly have the opportunity here.
- There is a little local restaurant and a few shops just around the corner.
