This bright studio apartment is available for rent on Rue Lacépède in Paris' 5th arrondissement. This main room has a large south-facing window that lets in plenty of natural light. By the window is a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and hotplate. Next to this, a door leads into the bathroom which has a shower, toilet, cabinet and sink. In the main living area, you find everything you would need for a bedroom including drawers, shelving and a single bed, that can also be used as a couch.
This apartment is located close to the centre of Paris, in the lively Latin Quarter, and a short walk from many sights. One block away you will find a large, beautiful Jardin des Plantes that leads onto the Seine. Next to that are several universities, beautiful bridges and a train station.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is located right by the beautiful Place Monge.
- The public transport to the city centre and rest of the city is excellent.
- You are a short walk from the natural history museum.
- There is a small table that could be used as a desk for a student needing to study at home.
- The kitchen has all the utensils you will need when cooking.
- There is a small courtyard connected to the apartment building for when you want to relax outside.
Things to keep in mind
- This apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator and may be difficult for some people to access.
- There is no washing machine or dryer in this apartment, the nearest laundromat is a 3-minute walk.
- There is no oven in this apartment but you have a microwave and hotplate available for cooking with.
