Opening the door into this studio apartment on Via Antonio da Recanate you'll find a reception unit for storage. It creates a short faux hall into an otherwise open space. The decor is wonderful and you’ll feel instantly at home. A large and comfy double bed takes up a good portion of the area, but there is still ample space left over. Parquet flooring warms up the room and there is also a tall window allowing natural light to filter in. The bathroom, which offers unique lighting, is close to the front door. It’s a fair sized space with a shower cabinet, and you’ll find the washing machine in here too. The one-wall kitchen, which is fully equipped, is set off of the living space. Here you’ll find a wonderful table for two where you can enjoy a quiet meal alone, or a romantic meal with a guest.
Centrale is a neighborhood just north of downtown Milan. As you might be able to guess, it is an area named after the Centrale Milan railway station. Aside from being a major European rail hub, the station, which is 5 minutes away, offers a gallery with many shops and restaurants. Of course, living nearby you’ll have to get used to quite a lot of tourist traffic. The station is a popular sight. A 12-minute walk south and you can relax in the more peaceful Indro Montanelli Public Gardens. At night you can dip into the Arcobaleno Film Center to catch a movie. And, the Elfo Puccini theater is only 10 minutes away. Groceries can be bought at the Carrefour supermarket that’s 4 minutes away, and there is a bakery around the corner.
