This studio apartment is available to rent on Via S. Maurilio, in the Duomo district, right in the heart of Milan. The renovated apartment is split over two levels, with the basic kitchenette the first thing as you enter. Then, upstairs is the living room / bedroom, which is bright and roomy. There is a single bed which doubles as a sofa, and a desk, plus a small wardrobe. The apartment is beautifully finished, and has vibrant contemporary art on the walls.
The Duomo district is the heart of old Milan. It's a district of narrow, winding streets, filled with shopping and little restaurants and cafes. The Duomo itself is a 5-minute walk from the apartment. You'll find everything you need nearby – and a lot more besides!
What we liked the most
- The building has a beautiful interior courtyard.
- The marble tiled bathroom is very elegant.
- If you're studying, Università degli Studi di Milano is a short walk away.
- Via Torino, just seconds from the apartment has loads of high street stores – shopping has never been easier!
- The historic Cinema Centrale, Milan's oldest cinema, is just around the corner. It screens art house and world cinema, and is very intimate.
