Bright studio apartment of 36m2 for rent with modern appliances, perfect for professional or student couples. It is in a quiet area surrounded by greenery, with lovely views across pedestrian streets and rooftops. As well as the main living space with the bedroom, kitchen and living areas, there is a separate mezzanine level which would make an ideal home office.
Vaise is a quiet neighbourhood, but the apartment is only 1 minute from the banks of the Saône river, where there are several highly popular restaurants and bars with charming views. A walk along the river will bring you past picturesque old churches and the lovely île Barbe, or if you are more adventurous, there is a rowing club nearby, for a more active exploration of the area!
What we liked the most
- The studio is extremely close to the Saône river with its picturesque banks.
- Modern furnishings and the exposed original woodwork give the apartment a cosy atmosphere.
- Charming views across the quiet pedestrian street will ensure a peaceful stay.
- There is a skylight above the bed, so you will be gently kissed awake by the rays of the morning sun!
- The large, solid stone coffee table is a unique and impressive feature.
Things to keep in mind
- The nearest train/Metro/bus services are approx. 35-40-minute´s walk away. However, parking is provided, and the centre of Lyon is a short drive.
- The walls on the mezzanine level are lower than the downstairs area - mind your head!
