Located in the charming Croix-Rousse Slopes (Pentes) neighborhood is this cozy 48 m², calm 2-bedroom apartment for rent. The 2nd floor apartment makes use of the available space with the first bedroom located on a mezzanine floor. The second bedroom is currently furnished as a study, but can be transformed into a baby's bedroom or a small bedroom for 1 person. There is an open-plan kitchen and living room with big windows that fill it with natural light and large island that helps create a great space to entertain. The bathroom is separated into a shower and toilet room, also allowing for extra storage space.
The Croix-Rousse Pentes are located on a slope which provides great views of the city and a neighborhood with lots of character. You will be living very near the Tête d'Or Park and the Opera/Hôtel de Ville. This neighborhood is perfect if you like a small-town atmosphere, with locals still feeling as they are their own village separate from Lyon. In fact, there is an organic vegetable garden a few meters away which you can share with your friendly neighbours! You have a metro stop and buses nearby, and the apartment is within walking distance of the city centre.
What we liked the most
- The apartment receives a lot of natural light and has nice city views.
- We love the island, perfect for cooking, dining, and just hanging out.
- You are near the city center and well-connected by metro.
- If you don't want to join a gym the hills will help keep you in shape.
- This apartment is very calm, there is zero noise.
Things to keep in mind
- The bedroom area has low ceilings, so may be not be suited for taller individuals.
