Spotahome's opinion
If there is one thing you won’t have to worry about when occupying a room in this 7-bedroom house on Willingdon Road, it’s space. It’s a two-storey house and the rooms are very large and bright, giving them a nice homey quality. You also have an upstairs and a downstairs kitchen, and both are equipped and include washing machines. There are also two full bathrooms, one on each floor. The ground floor also has an extra storage hall with an additional fridge and freezer, as well as a water closet, and leads to a large garden where you can spend the evenings chatting with your new mates.
Wood Green is north of London, but has an interesting history. The nearby Alexandra Palace is where the BBC first launched its TV service back in 1936. The location makes it easy to reach the Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal FC, as well as White Hart Lane, home of the Tottenham Hotspurs. Closer to home, you can spend weekends at a few nearby parks, one of which is practically on your doorstep. The Mall Wood Green is just a 12-minute walk, and you’ll find a Lidl market in this area too. Even closer is the Ordu One market, just 2 minutes away, and there are a number of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

What we liked the most
- The two kitchens are super convenient, and having access to the back garden is great for relaxing during the summer months.
- If you’re a football fan, you’ll be happy to note that you’re not too far from both the Emirates Stadium and White Heart Lane.
- The apartment is less than a 15-minute walk to the Mall Wood Green, where you’ll find over 100 retail shops, as well as market stalls.
- There are at least three parks close to the apartment, but the area is also well-connected to downtown London.
